Junior Route Salesman

Assists the Senior Salesman, RS Frozen in his day-to-day activities including stock preparation and actual manual delivery to stores. Participates in actively seeking out potential customers, distribute frozen products, and maintain positive customer relationships.

Junior Salesman will contribute to achieving sales targets, increasing the customer base, and representing the company's brand.

Key Result Area: Volume Achievement
  • Sell out to trade – Sell-out targets given on a periodic basis should be achieved.
Key Result Area: Market Development - Coverage Plan
  • Master Coverage Plan – Assist in the creation of a list of customers within area of responsibility, including both covered and non-covered customers. Arrange this list in the order of daily visits, ensuring a minimum of twice-a-month frequency of coverage.
  • Route Coverage Plan – Participates in the development of daily coverage plan, incorporating volume objectives and an SKU distribution plan.
  • Load Plan – Assists in the generation of a load plan following standard procedures and approval process ensuring accuracy of quantity and variety of SKUs.
Key Result Area: Market Development - Upselling and Cross-Selling
  • Line Sold – Ensures attainment of the established "must-have" items per store while also introducing additional SKUs with potential in the area.

Drop Size – Also takes participation in lowering instances of stock shortages, one should attain increase in quantity of products per SKU.

Key Result Area: Administrative function - Reports and Remittance
  • Reports – Assists in the provision of reports to management regarding buying account engagement, sales performance, and market insights.
  • Remittance – where need be, ensures cash remittances remits the cash sales on time or as prescribed for by SFI Finance

Job Specifications
  • Education - College Graduate of any 4-year course.
College level candidates are accepted depending on exposure and experience
  • Experience - 6 mos. to 1 yr. experience in retail and direct selling as a route salesman
  • Minimum years of directly-related work experience - 6 months experience in a related field
  • Training / License / Certification - Professional Driver’s License
