- 5+ years of experience with Power BI development and advanced DAX/Power Query
- Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and writing complex SQL queries
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star/Snowflake Schema, Normalization, etc.)
- Experience with Power BI Gateway, Dataflows, and Power BI REST API
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, etc.)
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and deployment automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Design and develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports
- Develop data models using DAX and Power Query (M) for efficient performance
- Build and optimize data pipelines from various sources (SQL, APIs, Excel, cloud)
- Manage dataset refresh schedules, row-level security (RLS), and workspace governance
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects on data warehousing and transformation
- Conduct performance tuning of reports and models
- Implement CI/CD practices for Power BI deployment where applicable
- Document technical design and support issue resolution
