Company Nurse and Safety Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and competent Registered Nurse (RN) to manage our company's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). The OSH Nurse will be responsible for providing essential medical services to our employees, preventing workplace injuries, and ensuring full compliance with all Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) OSH Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Emergency Response: Provide immediate first aid, emergency treatment, and palliative care for employees with work-related injuries or illnesses.
2. Health Management: Conduct health assessments, monitor employee health status, and dispense necessary over-the-counter and prescribed medications (with Physician's order).
3. Medical Administration: Manage and coordinate the Annual Physical Examination (APE), pre-employment medical checks, and health screenings.
4. Clinic Operations: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the clinic, including all medical supplies and equipment.
5. Confidentiality: Maintain secure and confidential medical records of all employees (in compliance with the Data Privacy Act).

1. OSH Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all statutory requirements, particularly those set by DOLE-OSH Standards.
2. Risk Management: Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across all work areas.
3. Accident Investigation: Lead the investigation of workplace accidents, prepare detailed incident reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Training: Develop and conduct safety and health training, cascading, and awareness programs (e.g., First Aid, Basic Life Support, Emergency Response, OSH Seminars).
5. Emergency Plans: Develop, implement, and lead emergency preparedness activities and drills (e.g., Fire, Earthquake).
