Section Supervisor

Section supervisor is responsible in organizing and coordinating the operation of the production process within the assigned or given shift, ensuring that each area is attended to and maintained within the established production efficiency and quality standards.

• Plans the production run.
• Request and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production requirements.
• Ensures a smooth production run with goals of achieving targets both in efficiency and quality.
• Responsible for producing quality products in alignment with the company’s quality systems, processes and procedures.
• Responsible for training, over-all supervision and evaluation of manpower in his/her shift.
• Ensures good communication with subordinates.
• Maintains good housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Ensures that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift.
• Examines monitoring documents to assess conformance to production standards and specifications; quality system requirements and food standards.
• Confer with the production staff and support groups to coordinate updates, improvements, changes and to resolve deficiencies, complaints and conflicts.
• Prepare and submit weekly production reports.

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence others and build relationship at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to effectively utilize technology – from moderate to advanced computer skills using Open Office and Microsoft Office Products; to learn management systems and other on-line resources.
• With good verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work overtime and in graveyard shifts; willing to work on weekends and holidays
