Site Engineer

Project: Cold Storage Warehouse Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee the construction of a cold storage warehouse. The position involves assignments to various project sites across the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Construction Planning: Develop and implement construction schedules, method statements, and quality control plans.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment, conduct site safety inspections, and implement safety protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and issues, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve construction-related issues, and propose solutions to ensure project progress.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in construction site engineering, preferably in cold storage or similar projects.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
4. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license, are an advantage.
5. Candidates must be willing to be assigned to various locations across the Philippines.
