About the role
At LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP.', we are seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As our IT Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our company's technology infrastructure.This full-time position is based in Metro Manila and will involve overseeing our IT systems and providing strategic guidance to support the overall business objectives.
What you'll be doing- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network administration, software maintenance, and hardware support
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain the security and integrity of our technology systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to our employees, ensuring minimal disruptions to their workflow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology-related challenges and opportunities
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and software solutions to drive efficiency and productivity
- Manage and supervise the IT team, including training, performance reviews, and professional development
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend strategic improvements to our IT infrastructure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing or related industry
- Strong technical expertise in network administration, server management, and IT infrastructure maintenance
- Proficient in various software and hardware technologies, including Windows, Linux, and networking protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with effective communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management and the implementation of new technologies
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA, would be an advantage
