Student Intern/OJT (Accounting)

About the Role:

The On-the-Job Trainee (OJT) will be immersed in day-to-day departmental functions, gaining first-hand experience in how Accounting contributes to overall business operations. This role is designed to provide students with practical exposure, allowing them to apply academic theories in a real-world setting, develop professional skills, and build workplace confidence.

Trainees will work closely with team members and supervisors, receive guidance, and be involved in real tasks or projects relevant to their academic background and learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting OJT:

• Encode financial transactions and assist with data entry
• Help organize invoices, receipts, and documents
• Support account reconciliation and report preparation
• Assist in monitoring expenses and petty cash
• Provide clerical and filing support to the accounting senior officer

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Diploma program in Accounting, Business, Office Administration, or a related course
• With a valid Endorsement or OJT Request Letter from school
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
