Design Architect (Remote)

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Design Architect to join our dynamic team. Also, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of architectural projects from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both conceptual and technical aspects of architecture, with a passion for creating innovative and sustainable designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret the set out design criteria for projects done by the Senior Design Architect. Distribute sketches, design intentions and design solutions including technical aspects of the design. Interact with design team to ensure that the interpretation of sketches and design requirements are fulfilled properly;
• Daily review the design team work, do proper red marking and corrections when needed;
• Coordinate the work of the 3D Team to ensure that the design tally with the 3D Model and the design intent;
• Ensures that the rendering is of the expected quality for marketing composition and photography;
• Adapt building codes, design and implement creative architectural layout

• Primary Role is to coordinate with Senior Design Architect (SDA) and management the team status so that they can achieve the timeline and target set by the Senior Design Architect;
• Monitor and supervise the design team to make sure that they are committed to the timeline and deliverables as well as they are working;
• Exert effort to continuously learn every role in the projects and execute it when necessary;
• Regularly review sets of the team’s deliverables for accuracy, efficiency and thoroughness;
• Take initiative to make positive change; assist the team to produce quality projects;
• Communicates with the team the design direction of the project;
• Mentors and evaluates team members in realizing their professional growth;

• Knowledge and skills in using different software used to create design aligned with what is currently being used by the SG, VN, CH and PH Teams;
• Knowledge of the international standards and MDL Design Standards.

Qualifications:

• A recognized Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience in the field of Architecture
• Require prior experience in high end luxury residential or hospitality sectors for both local and international
• Understanding in architectural specifics, construction practices and proficiency in working with detailed drawings.
• Demonstrate a good skills in presenting designs and building positive relationship with others.
• Exhibit strong leadership abilities within a team setting.
