Kitchen Inventory Clerk

Job Description:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for monitoring, recording, and managing the stock of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and commissary supplies used in pizza production. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely replenishment of items, and compliance with food safety and storage standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing commissary supplies.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Track usage of ingredients (flour, cheese, meats, sauces, etc.) and packaging materials to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out).

• Inspect and receive deliveries from suppliers, verifying accuracy of quantity, quality, and documentation.
• Issue ingredients and supplies to commissary staff according to production needs, maintaining proper documentation.

• Prepare regular inventory reports for the Commissary Head and Management.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for timely ordering of materials based on stock levels.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
