Content Writer and SEO Specialist (ZR_22730_JOB)

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, includes 1 hour unpaid break | Utah, Mountain Time

Paid hours per week: 40 hours per week

Job Overview:

The SEO Content Writer/Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging, keyword-optimized content across multiple formats and niches. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, experience writing in different tones and styles, and a proactive approach to content development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write high-quality, SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, service pages, landing pages, product descriptions, and more
• Adapt content style and tone to suit different industries and target audiences
• Collaborate with the project manager, web designer, social media manager, and SEO specialist to meet content goals
• Implement on-page SEO elements such as title tags, headers, meta descriptions, internal links, and keyword placement
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and style consistency
• Stay updated with content trends and SEO best practices

• Proven experience as an SEO content writer, preferably in a digital marketing agency setting
• Must have hands-on experience with WordPress (posting, formatting, basic SEO plugins, etc.)
• Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page & off-page SEO, and content structure
• Ability to write in a variety of formats and tones across different topics
• Familiarity with AI writing tools and an ability to use them responsibly as part of the content process
• Excellent grammar, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in delivering honest work
• Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines consistently
