About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team at Cogentc Business Solutions Inc in Makati City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations. As the Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks that are vital to the success of our company.
What you'll be doing- Preparing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files
- Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and timely
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a fast-paced environment (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
