PV Technical Engineer – Solar & BESS Projects - Quezon City

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven PV Technical Engineer – Solar & BESS Projects to support and lead technical efforts across the lifecycle of Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. From pre-sales bidding to project delivery and maintenance, this role is vital in ensuring high technical standards, risk management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical expertise during project bidding, identify risks and key assumptions, and propose effective solutions to mitigate technical challenges.
• Project Delivery: Lead the technical and quality management of turnkey Solar & BESS projects, including subsystems such as civil works, power supply and distribution, HVAC, and fire extinguishing. Ensure timely issue resolution and alignment with delivery schedules.
• Maintenance Support: Deliver post-implementation technical support, identify and address pain points that impact customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with SLA terms.
• Product Feedback & Improvement: Work closely with customers to identify product gaps and drive improvements that enhance overall system performance and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, HVAC, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the Solar & BESS industry, with hands-on knowledge of systems such as civil works, electrical distribution, UPS, HVAC, and fire safety.
• Experience in turnkey project delivery, including coordination across various technical subsystems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA-942 and Uptime Institute certifications.
• Proficient in English for daily work and technical communication.
• Strong sense of responsibility, proactive mindset, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Project management experience is a strong asset.
• Preliminary design capabilities for at least one relevant subsystem are preferred.

What We Offer:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, HVAC, Energy Storage, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in the Solar & BESS industry, with a strong understanding of industry standards and certifications (e.g., TIA-942, Uptime).
• Technical background covering one or more of the following areas: civil works, power distribution, UPS systems, HVAC, or fire extinguishing systems.
• Hands-on experience in project management is preferred.
• Proactive, responsible, and strong in communication and team collaboration.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for daily communication and documentation.
