Position Overview

We are a U.S.-based freight audit and payment firm seeking an experienced Senior Data

Analytics Manager to lead our Philippines-based analytics and reporting team. This leader

will oversee four analysts responsible for producing customized monthly client reporting

packages and quarterly business review presentations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills (Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI) with

polished communication abilities and team leadership experience. This role plays a critical

part in maintaining reporting excellence, improving processes, and presenting insights to

clients as part of our business review team.

Key Responsibilities

• - Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of four data analysts in the Philippines.
• - Oversee workflows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting.
• - Provide coaching in analytics tools, data structure best practices, automation, and quality assurance.
• - Work closely with the U.S.-based manager to align priorities, deadlines, and performance expectations.

• - Manage the complete lifecycle of customized monthly reporting packages for all assigned clients.
• - Ensure client-specific specifications, formatting, KPIs, and custom metrics are consistently applied.
• - Review and approve all month-end deliverables prior to client distribution.
• - Maintain documentation of client reporting requirements.

• - Lead development of PowerPoint presentations for quarterly client business reviews.
• - Translate large datasets into clear visuals, insights, and narratives.
• - Support preparation of slides, analytics summaries, cost-saving insights, and performance commentary.
• - Participate as part of the team presenting QBRs to clients.

• - Utilize Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) to build, refine, and automate reports.
• - Use SQL to query internal data sources and prepare structured datasets.
• - Develop Python scripts to automate recurring data preparation and reporting tasks.
• - Build dashboards and reporting pipelines using Microsoft Power BI tools.

• - Evaluate current reporting processes and identify improvements.
• - Create new reporting methodologies and standardized templates.
• - Implement QA checks and documentation standards for the analytics team.
• - Support development of scalable reporting solutions.

• - Work with IT to refine system extracts and improve data accessibility.
• - Partner with operations and leadership on reporting initiatives.
• - Communicate technical insights clearly to internal teams and clients.

• - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• - 5+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.
• - Prior experience managing or leading a team.
• - Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot).
• - Strong SQL and Python experience.
• - Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
• - Strong PowerPoint design and presentation-building skills.
• - Comfortable working with large datasets.
• - Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• - Experience in freight audit, logistics, or transportation.
• - Familiarity with ETL processes.
• - Experience designing dashboards for executive-level use.
• - Exposure to forecasting or advanced analytics.

• - Strong leadership presence.

• - Excellent communication skills.
• - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
