SURVEYOR (Construction)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed measurements and assessments of construction sites to establish property boundaries and elevations.
• Creating maps, plots, and blueprints to guide construction activities.
• Collecting and analyzing data related to land, buildings, and structures using surveying instruments.
• Ensuring that projects comply with local construction and land use regulations.
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive records, including survey reports, legal descriptions, and construction documents.
• Working closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that project designs are followed accurately.

Daily Tasks:

• Conducting field surveys, using tools like total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
• Measuring distances, angels, and elevations.
• Interpreting and updating survey data and maps.
• Preparing reports and documentation for legal and construction purposes.
• Communicating findings and updates with project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Geodetic Engineering. Licensed.
• Specialized training and certifications in surveying techniques and tools such as land surveying.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in construction surveying, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex projects.
