About the Role:
We are seeking to add top talents to join our high-performing and growing Accounting Team. This position will play a critical role as we leverage our deep network and presence in the Southeast Asian market to facilitate market entry and navigation for our investors from the next generation financial technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare and analyze financial forms, reports, and documents for internal and external use
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of books and financial records
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and financial statements
- Support day-to-day accounting operations including tax filings, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing
- Prepare documentation and assist in responding to audit and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with national and local accounting, tax, and legal regulations
- Maintain organized filing systems and records for accounting documentation
- Communicate and coordinate with clients regarding accounting-related concerns
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in accounting, with solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and widely used accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Prior work experience in a public auditing firm is a strong advantage
- Experience in fund accounting within a brokerage or mutual fund firm is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of the banking and financial services industry, particularly in asset management products, is a plus
- Familiarity with trust and investment regulations and awareness of industry trends in asset management is a significant advantage
- Strong experience in taxation compliance and filing
- Exposure to trading systems such as Bloomberg or equivalent platforms is preferred
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across teams
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
