Job Summary:
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper documentation, compliance with safety and quality standards, and smooth coordination with cross-functional teams.The Warehouse Officer plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of stock and supporting the overall supply chain operation.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT- Ensure optimal inventory levels through continuous monitoring and timely requisition of required stocks.
- Manage accurate and efficient distribution of inventory to both distribution and retail channels.
- Conduct weekly reconciliations of physical stock against e-cards and stock cards to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain daily records of inventory movements and ensure timely posting in SAP, including the preparation of essential documents such as Charge Invoices, Sales and Purchase Returns, Delivery Receipts, and Warehouse Receipts.
- Generate and submit detailed weekly and monthly inventory reports for fertilizers and seeds.
- Uphold proper storage standards based on stocking levels to minimize risk of damage or loss.
- Monitor and report any irregularities in daily operations, including non-moving and damaged stocks, and provide actionable recommendations for resolution and loss prevention.
- Oversee full warehouse operations in alignment with company standards and warehouse policies.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse and Logistics Manager or Supply Chain Head to plan and implement warehousing projects and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment by enforcing Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) through daily housekeeping.
- Report facility damages and ensure timely maintenance or repairs to avoid disruptions.
- Lead regular team meetings to address operational issues, track performance, and align on upcoming activities and action plans.
- Manage stock requisitions and delivery documentation for retail and satellite warehouses.
- Supervise the issuance and reporting of diesel use, including overhead tank reporting, replenishment, and coordination for LTO vehicle registrations.
- Oversee the renewal and processing of insurance policies and claims, including fire, comprehensive, and floater insurance coverage.
- Administer the issuance of freight slips and ensure prompt processing of payments for freight and fuel (Shell and Petron).
- Submit monthly fuel consumption reports and support other warehousing activities as assigned by top management.
