About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in a blended role based in Kapasigan, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering a salary of up to ₱30,000 per month. In this role, you will be primarily focused on non-voice customer support (80%), with minimal voice-based interactions (20%), allowing you to develop a diverse skill set whilst managing customer inquiries across multiple channels.

This position plays a vital role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and supporting the operational success of VALEROS VELASCO BUSINESS SOLUTIONS INC.

Key responsibilities
  1. Handle customer inquiries and requests through email, chat, and ticket-based systems with professionalism and efficiency
  2. Provide accurate, timely, and helpful responses to customer questions regarding products and services
  3. Document all customer interactions comprehensively in the company database to ensure continuity of service
  4. Resolve customer concerns and complaints whilst maintaining a positive and empathetic approach
  5. Process orders, returns, and other transactional requests accurately
  6. Collaborate with other departments to escalate complex issues and find effective solutions
  7. Handle occasional inbound or outbound voice calls as required (20% of duties)
  8. Meet agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies
  10. Contribute to a positive team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification; customer service certification or relevant experience is advantageous
  2. Proven experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a call centre or contact centre setting
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong grammar and professional language usage
  4. Strong typing speed and accuracy, with proficiency in using email, chat, and ticketing systems
  5. Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  6. Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  7. Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and resolve issues independently
  8. Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work full-time in the Pasig City location
  9. Basic computer literacy and comfort with learning new software systems quickly
  10. Willingness to take occasional phone calls as part of a blended role
