Plumber

Job Description

• Provide day to day engineering support.
• Assist in ensuring proper maintenace of equipments & facilities such as pumps are operational or in good condition, float valves and safety switches are working properly, cleaning of all tanks are done regularly & properly and observed water consumption & apply cost reduction processes.
• Assist in ensuring no oil and water leaks on the system and proper housekeeping on the unit and machine room.
• Assist in securing waterlines and plumbing fixtures are in place, any leaks and needed repairs must be reported to immediate head and assist in rectifying without delay.
• Assist in ensuring fire springklers are working properly and safety devices such as alarm system, fire extinguishers, heat and smoke detectors.
• Provide minor assistance with tenants and or unit owners that are urgent and emergency related matters regarding maintenance works and any concern must be reported to the management.
• Report whatever incident or situation that may hinder in doing your job.
• Safety and cleanliness in the building premises must be carried out.
• Assist in using saws and pipe cutters as necessary
• Collaborates and or assists with contractors, construction workers, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
• Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repairs together his superior/s
• Follows health and safety standards and complies with condo codes
• Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken if necessary
• Other related task assigned given to him by his superior.
