Compliance Specialist

Key Task Responsibilities
  1. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, executive orders, and industry-specific standards.
  • Monitor updates to regulatory guidelines and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Assist in implementing and updating company policies to maintain compliance.
  1. Audit & Certification Management
  • Support the planning and execution of internal and external audits.
  • Conduct audits in alignment with ISO and other certification standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to address and resolve audit findings.
  1. Business Process Evaluation & Improvement
  • Evaluate compliance-related business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Identify process gaps arising from audits, incidents, or regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement necessary changes.
  1. Risk & Incident Management
  • Identify and assess compliance-related risks.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning through risk mitigation efforts.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Work with internal teams to ensure consistent compliance practices.
  • Maintain professional relationships to support compliance initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external auditors.
  1. Training, Awareness & Documentation
  • Develop training materials and conduct compliance awareness sessions.
  • Maintain and update documentation in response to regulatory changes or audit outcomes.
  • Disseminate compliance updates and ensure understanding across teams.
  1. Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Group Head or Manager to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in:
  • ISO standards and/or other compliance certification frameworks
  • Internal and external audits
  • Business process improvement
  • Regulatory/statutory compliance
  • Project management
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and auditing practices preferred; certification is an advantage.
