Food Production Cook

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all canned food products are consistent, high-quality, and safe for distribution.

As a Food Production Cook at MB2 FOOD PRODUCTS INC., your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and cook large-scale batches of food according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and equipment settings to ensure consistent product quality.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately following specified formulations.
• Operate industrial kitchen equipment such as kettles, steamers, mixers, and batch cookers.
• Collaborate with QA team to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary cooking environment in compliance with food safety regulations (Halal, GMP, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate production flow.
• Assist in other areas of the production line as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food production or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and safety protocols precisely.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
