Jr. Security Architect
We are seeking a Security Architect to assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT infrastructure and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of security frameworks, risk assessment, and security architecture principles, with a passion for learning and growing in cybersecurity.
The role will have direct and immediate impact on an ultimate purpose of building a business trusted information security and to improve & sustain a technology control environment for supporting Dairy Farm group business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture & Design
- Assist in developing secure architecture blueprints for networks, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and applications.
- Support the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles.
- Review and recommend security controls for firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in threat modeling.
- Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, or PCI-DSS.
- Participate in security audits and remediation planning.
- Cloud & Application Security
- Assist in securing cloud environments (IAM, encryption, CSPM).
- Review secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10, SAST/DAST).
- Support DevSecOps integration (CI/CD pipeline security).
- Policy & Documentation
- Contribute to security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain security architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work with IT, DevOps, and development teams to embed security best practices.
- Provide guidance on secure network segmentation, VPNs, and MFA.
Role Specific Technical Competencies:
o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required with 3 or more years of experience in IT/Cyber Security, Presales Engineer, Security Vendor
o Core competencies with industrial knowledge in the Cyber Security and Information Security framework (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST, ISO 27001 etc.) are essential.
o Experience in Security Architecture Design, Application Security, Cloud, Network, and Server infrastructure
o Possesses ready knowledge of security policies, standards and procedures frameworks and their development, implementation and update.
o Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly, apply risk/threat/vulnerability control considerations or method which impact multiple dimensions of Business, IT and subsequent downstream decisions.
o Technical/Technology Vendor evaluation experience.
o Professional certifications a bonus
