What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Scheduling Assistant, you will support the production and operations team by maintaining accurate schedules, coordinating information flow, and ensuring production activities align with customer demand and operational capacity.
You’ll play a key role in keeping production organised, visible, and on track every day.- Import and maintain production data within scheduling systems
- Schedule production tasks across departments (excluding custom manufacturing)
- Align production schedules with mould availability and capacity
- Maintain the lead time and scheduling inbox, responding to Sales and Representative queries
- Support demand planning and standard production coordination with the Procurement team
- Action schedule adjustments requested by team leaders via internal communication channels
- Update and reschedule daily production plans for the following day
- Issue daily production and scheduling reports to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure removed or changed items are reviewed and updated daily
- Monitor and resolve scheduling conflicts in real time
- Support smooth communication between production, sales, procurement, and operations teams
- Experience in production scheduling, operations support, logistics coordination, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data inputs accurately
- Confident communicator who can coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PC-based systems
- Experience with ERP or order management systems (NetSuite experience highly regarded)
- Proactive mindset with strong follow-through and problem-solving ability
