Event Coordinator
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Group X. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, organisation, and execution of exceptional events for our diverse client base.This is a full-time position, flexible working hours up to 40hrs a week.
What you'll be doing- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives, then translate these into detailed event plans and timelines
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue coordination, vendor management, and resource allocation
- Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring seamless execution and a positive experience for all attendees
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners throughout the event planning and delivery process
- Monitor and report on event performance, providing recommendations for improvements
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies for events
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of event planning processes and procedures
- Integration with Singapore Operation: You will on occasion be asked to travel to Singapore or other city to work with the team on projects.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in event planning or a related field
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
- Able to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in using event management software and other relevant tools
- Knowledge in AI Tools (Chatgpt, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
- Familiarity with the event industry (In the Philippines and/or Abroad)
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required
