The Research and Development Staff (FEED MILL) is responsible for assisting in product innovation, trials, and testing to improve feed quality, efficiency, and sustainability. This role supports research initiatives, data collection, and formulation development at EDL Farms and Feed Manufacturing, Inc.(EFFMI).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities by assisting in feed formulation trials and new product testing.
- Analyze raw materials and feed samples by performing laboratory tests and evaluations.
- Support data collection and documentation by maintaining detailed reports on research findings.
- Assist in farm trials by monitoring feed performance and gathering production metrics.
- Ensure research compliance by following protocols and industry regulations in R&D activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Stay updated on industry advancements by researching new technologies and market trends.
- Support quality control processes by providing R&D insights to enhance product quality.
- Help identify cost-effective alternatives for raw materials and processing techniques.
- Contribute to achieving departmental objectives by performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
Educational Level: Bachelor’s DegreeDegree / Course: Animal Science, Agriculture, Food Technology, or related field
Behavioral Competencies: Analytical thinking, curiosity, problem-solving, attention to detail
Technical Skills: Research methodologies, data analysis, laboratory testing, feed formulation principles
Years of Related Experience: At least 1–2 years in R&D, feed technology, or related fields
