Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department with day-to-day financial tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with data entry, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in monthly account closings
- Record financial transactions manual ledgers
- Prepare and maintain financial documents and reports
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the accounting team
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
