Is currently looking for:

FLEET HEAD

• Proven experience in the maritime industry.
• Previous onboard experience as a Chief Engineer is highly preferred.
• Strong background in ship management or fleet technical operations.

• Manage and control the assigned vessels in the fleet and oversee daily operations, routine works, emergency, and functional requirement of the management.
• In charge for handling the technical Inspections as assigned by the Superiors and make the necessary reports and submit them to concerned parties.
• Responsible for coordinating with Marine Superintendent concerning the vessel’s cargo related matters, safe navigation and vessel activities, and ISM/ MLC/ ISPS audits.
• Responsible for coordinating with the respective superintendents in reference to maintenance, repair of vessels and implementation of ISM-SMS.
• Responsible for coordinating with the respective superintendents in reference to ships survey.
• Responsible for coordinating with the respective superintendents in reference to vessel ROB which includes fuel oil, lube oil, chemicals, and spares.
• Responsible for ensuring and maintaining vessels’ zero loss time accident record and to report all vessel incidents, Near Misses to prevent and eliminate potential incidents.
• Responsible for maintaining quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing, and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements in the delivery of ship management service to the shipowners.
• Responsible for preparing superintendent’s instructions based on result of inspection, and machinery maker’s and ship officer’s recommendations.
• Responsible for evaluating performance of ship master and senior officers at the end of their contract.
• Plan budget of assigned vessels and report the actual cost quarterly.
• Perform systematic review of recommended codes, guidelines and standards and ensure compliance with Quality & Safety Management standards including Risk Assessment review.
• Present plans and programs for vessel preventive maintenance onboard (short-term and long-term).

• Accomplishes department objectives by constant staff management, planning and evaluating department activities.
• Accomplishes staff results by communicating and evaluating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Attend NB Supervision works when assigned by the Superiors and carry out the task in line with the Standard Operation Procedure.
• Assist the respective superintendents in the efficient operation of their assigned vessels by giving recommendations and sharing knowledge.
• Carry out third-party vessel inspection, if so required.
• Monitor movement and condition of assigned vessels in the fleet.
• Maintain all technical files, records, documents, etc. in good condition and readily available always.
• Monitor the third-party activities such as attendance of class surveyors, technicians, service providers, and suppliers ensuring that job specifications are attained.
• Prepare dry-docking specifications and ensure that the dry-docking is carried out accordingly.
• Record all machinery trouble and deficiencies and follow up to rectify the trouble and close the deficiency.
• Report to President or General Manager any related concerns that may affect the efficiency and safety management of vessels.
• Supervise purchasing matters in the assigned fleet including quotation, requisition, deliveries, and invoices.
• Update the company on information regarding the Maritime Industry and recommend technical and shipboard related matters.
• Updates the respective superintendents on current operations activities for decision making.
• Verify all certificates onboard are updated and arrange for class surveyor to attend to vessel.
• Verify operating condition of ship machinery and provide technical advice for repairs to prevent off-hire.
• Work closely with the HSE Management team to ensure smooth and successful implementation of QHSE system and policies for the department.
• Perform other duties and functions as may be assigned by the President or General Manager.
