Role Overview:
As our Assistant Operations Manager, you’ll be the go-to problem-solver for daily operations ensuring seamless guest stays, coordinating property teams, and optimizing systems for efficiency. This is a high-impact role with mentorship from the founder and a clear path to Operations Manager as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Guest Experience & Crisis Management:
- Resolve urgent guest complaints (noise, maintenance, check-in issues) in Cebu City properties.
- Handle refunds, discounts, and negative reviews with professionalism.
- Improve guest satisfaction scores through proactive solutions.
✅ Team & Vendor Coordination:
- Supervise cleaning crews, maintenance staff, and 24/7 support teams.
- Liaise with local vendors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) for quick fixes.
✅ Operations Optimization:
- Streamline check-in/check-out processes for central Cebu City properties.
- Spot recurring issues (e.g., WiFi, cleanliness) and implement fixes.
- Assist with tech tools: Airbnb, PMS software, and automation systems.
✅ Local Market Knowledge:
- Understand Cebu City’s STR regulations, neighborhoods, and guest expectations.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years in hospitality, property management, or Airbnb operations (local experience a huge plus).
- Problem-solver – Calm under pressure (e.g., last-minute cancellations, guest disputes)
- Tech-savvy – Familiar with Airbnb, messaging tools (e.g., Hostaway), and spreadsheets
- Fluent in English & Cebuano – To communicate with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented – Spots small issues before they escalate.
