IT Technical Support Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on IT Technical Support Analyst who can go beyond basic helpdesk tasks and contribute to maintaining a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, system troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, with exposure to networking, automation, and ERP systems (SAP) as a strong advantage.
What You’ll Do
Technical Support & Troubleshooting- Provide first-level support via phone, email, remote tools, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Apply structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Escalate complex issues with proper documentation
- Manage and track tickets using a helpdesk system
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Perform software updates, patching, and system upgrades
- Conduct preventive maintenance (antivirus, backups, system health checks)
- Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, disk usage)
- Assist in basic automation using scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Manage user accounts (Active Directory, email, enterprise systems)
- Assign roles and permissions based on access control policies
- Perform password resets and enforce security standards
- Assist in troubleshooting LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues
- Perform basic diagnostics (IP configuration, DNS checks, ping, traceroute)
- Support endpoint security (antivirus, firewalls, encryption)
- Promote cybersecurity awareness among user
- Provide basic support for SAP (MM, SD, FICO)
- Assist with login issues, transactions, and reporting
- Coordinate with SAP consultants for complex concerns
- Maintain IT asset inventory and system documentation
- Create user guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Support IT projects (system upgrades, deployments, migrations)
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with helpdesk systems and remote support tools.
- Exposure to programming and ERP systems like SAP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
