Java programmer

Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain Java-based applications, translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. Design and build efficient, reusable, reliable Java codes
• Coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with teams to ensure the application meets business requirements and functions efficiently, ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, fixing errors in the code to ensure smooth functionality and devise solutions to these problems, maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

• More than 4 years of expertise in Java programming, with excellent knowledge of its ecosystems and solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Advance understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds, skills for writing reusable Java libraries, knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java, familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks, such as Play and Spark
• Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks (Depending on project requirements)
• Bi-lingual is a requisite. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Fookien, English language, spoken and written.
