Main Responsibilities:
Ensures that the level of lens inventory and service to customer are within the KPI target by carrying out effective and efficient weekly production plan.
Maintains that substrate, HC and AR program quantity are in accordance with the launching quantity defined in the Master Plan.
Updates and keeps accurate all data & database needed in program planning including molds inventory level.
Ensures that the program is in line with the production capacity and production constraints are considered.
Reviews weekly production program and scheduling to ensure alignment with the Master Plan
Identifies delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines
Integrates new products and validation into production schedules
Ensures the right level of inventory and systematically determine the right production strategy by SKU taking into consideration the targeted customer service level and supporting management initiative to reduce cost
Reviews the calculated molds stock coverage and requirements with the DC Planning Supervisor monthly or when necessary
Participates in resolving production issues and escalates unresolved issues to management promptly
Participates in daily meetings with support and production teams to keep track of production schedules and share information regarding service
Participates in production risk assessment and mitigation activities
Sets the performance objectives for the Production Planning team
Appraises staff during performance review periods
