Compliance Officer (Risk Advisory Experience Required)

Join our Compliance Monitoring team in Manila and help shape a modern, data-driven compliance program. As a Compliance Officer, you’ll work closely with global colleagues to assess and enhance our compliance framework, ensuring we meet regulatory obligations and internal standards.

• Design and execute compliance monitoring plans to assess adherence to regulations and internal policies.
• Perform compliance controls testing and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, control gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Investigate compliance issues, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. Identify or redefine compliance controls to address the issues noted.
• Track and validate the implementation of remediation measures.
• Conduct risk-based assessments of business practices and controls to evaluate compliance effectiveness and evaluate risk exposure.
• Enhance and maintain compliance-related systems and tools to support automation and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide compliance guidance and deliver training.
• Support local compliance matters and contribute to global initiatives and investigations.
• Drive innovation in compliance testing through data analytics and automation.
• Participate in the rollout of a modern compliance and governance framework.
• Engage in continuous learning through our PG Academy and external certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Internal Auditing.
• Preferably a CPA, with experience in consulting or advisory services.
• Additional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CRISC) are a strong plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk advisory, internal, external and/or IT audit.
• Background in financial services is advantageous but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communicator with a focus on clear, well-organized verbal and written responses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and a keen interest in Generative AI and emerging technologies.
