Team Lead Accounts Receivable

About the role
NYGC Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead for our Accounts Receivable department. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Accounts Receivable specialists, ensuring the efficient and timely collection of outstanding payments.This is a full-time role based in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the Accounts Receivable team
- Assign and monitor tasks to ensure deadlines are met and productivity targets are achieved
- Provide training, guidance and support to team members to develop their skills and knowledge
- Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and resolution of outstanding payments
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures to streamline Accounts Receivable processes
- Prepare and present reports on team performance, cash flow and collection activities
- Identify and escalate any significant concerns or risks to the management team
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash application
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting using Excel or other financial software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
