Deputy General Manager (Marketing Agency)

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Deputy General Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a full-service marketing agency.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4-5 years of management experience and specific experience working within full-service agency environments.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of operations, team performance, and client success.

The successful candidate must have proven experience managing teams of 10-20 people.

You will work closely with the COO to drive execution, improve systems, and ensure all teams deliver high-quality, performance-focused results.

1. Oversee daily operations across all service lines (performance marketing, social media, content, web, and lead generation)
2. Ensure all campaigns and deliverables are executed efficiently, on time, and aligned with client KPIs .
3. Improve internal workflows, systems, and SOPs to enhance productivity and scalability
4. Monitor and optimize campaign performance, focusing on ROI, conversions, and lead generation
5. Establish and maintain KPI tracking, reporting systems, and team accountability
6. Manage team leads and ensure alignment, performance, and continuous improvement
7. Act as escalation point for key client issues and ensure strong client retention
8. Support leadership in business growth, pricing alignment, and operational strategy
9. Ensure operational execution aligns with financial performance and profitability goals
