About the role
We are seeking a talented Design Architect to join our growing team at NEPTEL Design + Build in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in shaping our design philosophy and delivering outstanding architectural solutions to our clients.As a Design Architect, you will be responsible for conceptualising, developing, and implementing innovative design solutions that align with project objectives and client expectations. You will work at the intersection of creativity and technical expertise, translating design visions into buildable, sustainable structures that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key responsibilities- Develop comprehensive architectural designs and design concepts from initial client briefs through to detailed construction documentation
- Create detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using industry-standard design software and tools
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning
- Prepare design presentations and visual renderings for client consultation and approval
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards applicable in the Philippines
- Manage design revisions and incorporate client feedback whilst maintaining design integrity
- Contribute to design innovation and best practice development within the firm
- Support junior design staff and provide technical guidance on architectural projects
- Maintain project budgets and timelines whilst ensuring quality standards are met
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification
- Professional registration or licensure as an Architect
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience in architectural design and project delivery
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methodologies, and sustainable design principles
- Excellent technical drawing and spatial design capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
- Experience in design-and-build or integrated project delivery models is highly desirable
- Knowledge of local Philippine building standards, regulations, and permitting requirements
- Collaborative approach with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design outcomes
