Job Summary
The Office Staff – Dispatch & Inventory Control is responsible for planning and dispatching daily deliveries, making sound decisions on delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-efficient transport of goods, and maintaining highly accurate inventory records.This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and accountability in inventory management and logistics operations.
Qualifications- College graduate (preferably in Logistics, Business Administration, or related course)
- At least 5–6 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or inventory management
- Proven experience in dispatching goods and route planning
- Strong decision-making skills, especially in selecting efficient delivery routes and schedules
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in inventory recording
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously
- Dispatch goods daily and ensure deliveries are executed according to schedule
- Decide and optimize delivery routes based on urgency, distance, traffic conditions, and cost efficiency
- Coordinate closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and third-party logistics providers
- Monitor delivery status and resolve issues such as delays, route changes, or discrepancies
- Accurately record all inbound and outbound inventory movements
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records and ensure data accuracy at all times
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system/office records
- Prepare inventory and delivery reports for management review
- Investigate and report inventory variances, shortages, or overages immediately
