Local Business Development Specialist(Philippines Market)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the BD manager in the execution of business development plans and strategies for the Philippine market, assisting with market research, data collection and basic competitive analysis.
  2. Conduct on-site inspections for potential new store locations under guidance, complete data sorting, on-site verification and information documentation, and assist in preparing professional site assessment reports.
  3. Prepare full sets of materials for business negotiations (with shopping malls, landlords, and potential partners), take accurate meeting minutes, track follow-up actions, and participate in negotiation meetings as a core team member.
  4. Maintain daily communication with key partners (mall management, landlords, etc.) as an authorized company contact, and build positive long-term cooperative relationships under team guidance.
  5. Provide end-to-end administrative and document support for site selection, lease agreement processing and BD project management.
  6. Monitor local market trends, competitor dynamics and new business opportunities, and compile regular market update briefs for the team.
  7. Track and report the execution progress of assigned BD tasks, and assist the manager in completing regular work reports and market insight summaries.
  • Job Requirements:
  • Must-Haves
  1. 1-2 years of solid working experience in commercial real estate, retail store expansion, business development or related fields.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local Filipino language, with basic business negotiation and coordination capabilities.
  3. Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with basic data analysis and standardized report writing skills.
  4. Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong execution and fast learning ability, able to work independently under clear guidance.
  5. Be resilient and adaptable. This role requires frequent overtime work.
  6. Ability to handle tasks efficiently under high work pressure, and regular business travel.

  1. Prior working experience or project exposure in the Philippines local market.
  2. Existing network and connections with local shopping mall management teams or commercial real estate resources.
  3. Hands-on experience in end-to-end retail site selection or lease agreement support.
