About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer to build and scale intelligent automation systems for a fast-growing financial services environment.

This role focuses on AI-powered workflow automation, intelligent document processing, lender integrations, and multi-agent AI systems that improve operational efficiency across mortgage and credit processes.

You will work on real-world AI applications involving OCR, LLM orchestration, workflow automation, API integrations, and human-in-the-loop review systems.

1. Data Extraction & Orchestration

• Automated Fact-Finding: Develop systems to ingest raw client data (bank statements, pay slips, ID documents) and map them directly into the CRM fields using OCR and LLM-based parsing.
• Application Preparation: Automate the population of lender-specific application forms and internal credit memos.
• Lender Integration: Build and maintain automations to trigger external actions such as:
• Pricing Requests: Pulling live rates based on client profiles.
• Valuation Ordering: Automated API calls to property valuation providers (e.g., CoreLogic, ValEx).
• Follow ups: Conduct automatic follow ups on files in progress with various lenders

1. Multi-Agent AI Ecosystem Development

• Agent Architecture: Design and deploy specialized AI agents (using frameworks like LangChain etc) to handle discrete tasks:
• The Auditor: Checks for missing documents or inconsistencies in the fact-find.
• The Communicator: Generates status updates for the broker and the client.
• The Coordinator: Follows up with lenders on outstanding requests.
• Feedback Loops: Implement "Human-in-the-loop" (HITL) checkpoints where the AI reports its confidence levels and requests manual intervention when necessary.

1. System Integration & Compliance

• API Management: Develop and manage secure API connections between the native CRM and third-party financial tools.
• Data Security & Privacy: Ensure all AI processes comply with financial services regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, or local credit laws), specifically regarding the handling of Sensitive Personal Information (SPI).

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
• AI/LLM Frameworks: Deep experience with OpenAI API, Anthropic, LangChain, or Llama etc
• Automation Tools: Proficiency in n8n for rapid prototyping, alongside custom Python-based automation.
• Backend Development: Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Node.js.
• Document Processing: Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) tools like AWS Textract, Google Document AI, or Azure Form Recognizer.
• Database Management: Experience with SQL and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Supabase, Firestore etc) for storing and retrieving client context.
