SENIOR R&D CONSULTANT
Location: Manila-based with regular travel to Cebu and other project locationsEmployment Type: Project-based / Retainer
About the Role
The Senior R&D Consultant will provide high-level technical direction for a new food ingredient manufacturing project during the pre-operational stage. The consultant will guide product-track selection, review trial design, challenge technical assumptions, assess process and scale-up risks, and advise the internal team before pilot validation and plant commissioning.The role is intended for a senior food R&D professional with strong ingredient-processing judgment, export awareness, and the ability to translate development work into practical manufacturing decisions.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or closely related field; advanced technical training or graduate-level food science experience is an advantage.
- 15+ years of experience in Food R&D, Manufacturing, or Technical Consulting
- Strong expertise in food chemistry, process development, and commercialization
- Experience in export-oriented food manufacturing is highly desirable
- Willing to travel and be assigned to Manila-Cebu or to other company locations as business needs require
