Accounting Manager for Food Industry (Manila Office)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close processes
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Oversee the work of the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably in the food manufacturing
• Proven track record of managing a team of accountants and leading financial reporting and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
