COMPASS Training Center, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and service-oriented Site Nurse who will play an important role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our trainees, employees, instructors, and guests within the training site.

As a Site Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic training environment where hundreds of trainees are served daily. This role is ideal for a registered nurse who is proactive, reliable, and capable of providing immediate medical assistance, health monitoring, emergency preparedness support, and health awareness initiatives in a fast-paced operational setting.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with an active and valid PRC license.
  • With at least one (1) year of experience as an Occupational Nurse, Company Nurse, Site Nurse, or similar role.
  • Experience in a training center, industrial, occupational health, emergency response, or safety-related environment is an advantage.

Certifications and Trainings

Applicants with the following certifications or trainings are preferred:

  • Standard First Aid with AED and Basic Life Support
  • Basic Life Support
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Oxygen Administration
  • OHNAP Certification
  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training
Competencies
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond calmly during medical concerns or emergencies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist and deal professionally with trainees, employees, clients, instructors, and guests.
  • Organized and detail-oriented in handling medical records, reports, and clinic supplies.
  • Knowledgeable in basic occupational health, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness practices.
  • Capable of promoting health awareness and encouraging safe and healthy practices within the workplace.
  • Physically and medically fit and able to move around the site to provide medical assistance when needed.
  • Reliable, alert, compassionate, and service-driven.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Willing to work in a training site environment with high daily trainee volume.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Nurse shall be responsible for providing basic healthcare services and medical support within the training site. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide immediate first aid and nursing care to trainees, employees, instructors, and guests as needed.
  • Assist and monitor trainees during training activities, especially in physically demanding or safety-sensitive courses.
  • Conduct vital signs checking and basic health assessment of trainees and employees.
  • Respond to medical concerns, minor injuries, health complaints, and emergency situations within the site.
  • Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, emergency responders, or attending physicians when further medical evaluation or treatment is required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, incident logs, health monitoring forms, and related documentation.
  • Monitor and manage clinic supplies, first aid kits, medicines, oxygen, AED, and other medical equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation of occupational health, safety, emergency response, and wellness programs.
  • Participate in emergency drills, safety exercises, and other preparedness activities conducted by the Company.
  • Promote and inculcate health awareness among employees, trainees, instructors, and guests through health reminders, wellness initiatives, and basic health education.
  • Support compliance with workplace health and safety and other regularory standards, including coordination with the Safety/HSE Team when necessary.
  • Assist in pre-training health screening or fitness assessment when required by the training program.
  • Ensure confidentiality of medical information and proper handling of health records.
