What is the job?

The Accounting Data Analyst is responsible for performing daily and monthly reconciliations, analyzing general ledger accounts, and processing financial data through systems such as Oracle and Arcesium.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations and perform general account analysis including bank statements and revenue.
• Process and manipulate financial data from Oracle for integration into Arcesium using defined rulesets.
• Monitor and analyze data for accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Research and interpret financial data to answer accounting and finance-related questions.
• Collaborate with internal departments for month-end entries and special reporting tasks.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) to (5) years of accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience with general ledger systems like Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data, identify trends, and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in processing and reviewing financial transactions.
• Effective communicator, able to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior management.
