Junior Multimedia Artist

Glimpses of Guam is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Multimedia Artist to join our on-site team in Manila. This is an entry-level position suited for individuals with a strong foundation in multimedia design, motion graphics, and creative execution.

The ideal candidate has experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe After Effects and Adobe InDesign, and is passionate about creating engaging visual content for digital, print, social media, and publication layouts. Experience with publication design and layout production is considered a strong advantage.

This role requires someone who is collaborative, adaptable, and eager to grow within a fast-paced creative environment while working closely with both local and overseas teams. This is an on-site position – only apply if you can commit to daily in-office work.

• Create engaging motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects for marketing campaigns, social media, and client deliverables.
• Design creative assets for print, digital, and social media platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
• Support the development of layouts and publication materials using Adobe InDesign.
• Create mockups, storyboards, and visual concepts for internal reviews and client presentations.
• Collaborate closely with onsite and overseas team members to execute creative projects efficiently.
• Stay updated on current design trends, motion graphics techniques, and software advancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Arts, or a related field (or equivalent creative experience).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience as a motion graphics artist, multimedia artist, or similar role.

Required Skills and Software Proficiency:

• Required proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe InDesign.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of motion graphics, animation principles, and visual storytelling.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Team player with ability to work closely effectively with an on-site team and remotely through video conferencing and online tools.

Portfolio Requirements:

• Motion graphics/animation projects (must include Adobe After Effects work).
• Graphic design samples (e.g., logos, flyers, social media assets).
• Layout or publication design work
• Applications with a portfolio will not be considered

Additional Requirements:

• Availability to work on-site in Manila from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. MNL time.
