Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures.
  • Interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams for troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and plant layout planning activities.
  • Apply and uphold QMS (ISO 9001), EMS/EHS (ISO 14001), and safety standards.
  • Coach developing engineers and technicians on equipment requirements.
  • Demonstrate leadership, manage change, and motivate team members.
  • Decide on task prioritization and lead the team to meet schedules.
  • Delegate tasks to cross-functional teams.
  • Gather inputs and results from cross-functional groups for critical decisions.
  • Prepare technical reports and conduct presentations.
  • Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations, negotiations, and persuasion.
  • Conduct strategic planning and crisis management when equipment issues arise.
  • Provide process knowledge and define inputs, outputs, and equipment requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Industrial Engineering
  • 3–5 years experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer
  • Expertise in equipment maintenance processes and technical accessories
  • Experience in maintenance strategy design, fault response, inspections, and spare parts management
  • Ability to ensure continuous equipment coverage
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
  • Familiarity with stamping, molding, plating, and assembly machines
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and delivering results
  • Familiarity with succession planning and long-term employee development
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices
  • Computer literate (MS Office, email, communication tools)
