Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures.
- Interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams for troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and plant layout planning activities.
- Apply and uphold QMS (ISO 9001), EMS/EHS (ISO 14001), and safety standards.
- Coach developing engineers and technicians on equipment requirements.
- Demonstrate leadership, manage change, and motivate team members.
- Decide on task prioritization and lead the team to meet schedules.
- Delegate tasks to cross-functional teams.
- Gather inputs and results from cross-functional groups for critical decisions.
- Prepare technical reports and conduct presentations.
- Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations, negotiations, and persuasion.
- Conduct strategic planning and crisis management when equipment issues arise.
- Provide process knowledge and define inputs, outputs, and equipment requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Industrial Engineering
- 3–5 years experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer
- Expertise in equipment maintenance processes and technical accessories
- Experience in maintenance strategy design, fault response, inspections, and spare parts management
- Ability to ensure continuous equipment coverage
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
- Familiarity with stamping, molding, plating, and assembly machines
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership experience in managing teams and delivering results
- Familiarity with succession planning and long-term employee development
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices
- Computer literate (MS Office, email, communication tools)
