Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Quezon City

• Analyze and report on overall testing progress, status, and results.
• Manage defect lifecycle, including identification, tracking, and resolution.
• Draft and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
• Define and implement quality process improvements aimed at preventing defects.
• Create documentation for new applications to support team training and knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of test execution aligned with requirements or user stories.
• Interpret and analyze functional specifications, technical documents, and other requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior QA testers, promoting skill development and best practices.
• Utilize defect management tools such as JIRA for tracking and reporting issues.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Develop clear, detailed, and structured test cases.
• Accurately document test findings, including evidence, bugs, and change requests, with high attention to detail.
• Create, maintain, and execute test scripts; manage tracking and reporting systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ensure precision in executing test cases and attention to accuracy.
• Communicate testing concerns effectively through well-documented reports.
• Analyze user stories to create and execute test cases based on defined acceptance criteria, documenting all results thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• With at least 5-7 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Amenable to work full onsite in Ortigas / Makati.
