Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an HR Officer
What are the Job Responsibilities?- Responsible and accountable for the implementation and subsequent compliance monitoring of all company policies and regulations regarding environmental, occupational health and safety in production area, warehouses and in the entire Feed Mill premises
- Ensure compliance to all government laws, decrees, policies and standards pertaining to environment, health and safety and the prompt securing of all relevant permits from government regulatory agencies
- Submit regulatory reports to direct superior on the safety performance of assigned area
- Regularly review the relevance of existing company policies on environment, health and safety. Initiate revision when the need to do so presents itself
- During plant emergencies, coordinate with and provide leadership to the plant team assigned to respond to specific incidents like fire, earthquake, work accidents, etc.
- Act as Liaison with government regulatory agencies like DENR, LLDA, DOLE, DOH, etc. and shall also represent the company during hearings summoned by the regulating agency concerning company issues related to environment, health and safety
- Ensure that the HR service level standards are met
- Provide coordination and assistance on the recruitment and talent management processes from sourcing, interviews, completion of necessary pre-employment requirements, onboarding, orientations, actual deployment to department, trainings, performance management offboarding, etc.
- Process timekeeping and comply with payroll guidelines and timelines
- Manage to assist and coordinate with concerned personnel on the training schedules and properly perform all assigned related logistical functions for the success implementation of training programs
- Maintain employee training records and adhere compliance on the training related process and documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date-employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, performance evaluations and benefits documentation
- Manage to collaborate and provide support to HR services that will enhance positive employee experience
- Perform other related functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Human Resources, Psychology or any related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in workplace health and safety.
- Experience in conducting safety orientations, audits, and compliance reporting
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety programs
- Willing to assign in Paknaan Mandaue and Consolacion Cebu
