VirtueStaff is excited to announce an opening for a Social Media/Marketing Specialist for our client. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual who is passionate about finance and possesses a deep understanding of social media strategies.You will play a crucial role in enhancing the client’s online presence, engaging their audience, and driving brand awareness within their industry's sector.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategies, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn, X, BlueSky, Threads, and Facebook.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content, including social media posts, articles, infographics, short-form videos, and blog posts.
- Monitor and manage social media accounts, actively engaging with followers and responding to comments to build a strong online community.
- Analyze social media and marketing performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing initiatives.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve marketing collateral and optimize marketing funnels for lead generation and conversion.
- Automate digital workflows (e.g., between website and CRM like HubSpot) to enhance efficiency and streamline marketing operations.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to attract and engage qualified prospective clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in social media, AI technologies, and industry-specific news relevant to the client's industry.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or Marketing Specialist, preferably in the financial services or investment management sector.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X, BlueSky, and Threads, along with best practices.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that engages an audience.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video content and editing skills.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with Hubspot, Notion, Canva, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini is preferred.
