Manila - Operations Division Manager - Supermarket
About the role
Isetann Department Store, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Division Manager - Supermarket to oversee the operations of our supermarket division in Recto, Cubao, Sta. Mesa and Carriedo. This is a full-time, on-site position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supermarket locations within the area.
What you'll be doing- Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive efficiency, productivity, and profitability across the supermarket division
- Managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of multiple supermarket locations, including overseeing store managers, staff, inventory, and customer service
- Analysing key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures to enhance overall operational performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various business functions, such as logistics, marketing, and finance
- Fostering a positive and engaged work environment, providing mentorship and development opportunities for the supermarket team
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for growth, innovation, and process optimisation within the supermarket division
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior operations management role within the retail or supermarket industry
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and maximising profitability
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven insights
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Thorough understanding of retail and supermarket industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
