A cashier is responsible for processing customer payments, managing transactions via POS systems, and providing excellent customer service in retail or service environments. Key duties include scanning items, balancing the cash drawer, handling returns, and maintaining a clean checkout area
Qualifications/Requirements
Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma/ Vocational Diploma/ Short Course Certificate, College DiplomaExperienced in Cashiering is a plus; must be willing to learn and be trained.
Must be computer literate, POS experienced is preferred
At least 5’2 in height
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
Must be amenable to work schedule that covers shifting, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Change of work schedule/extended duty can be done with a short notice to resolve manpower concerns.
