As an AU Tax Advisory Accountant, you support the delivery of client engagements by preparing tax returns, advisory reports, and technical tax research for complex Australian tax matters. You will collaborate with senior leaders on advisory work covering Australian income tax, GST, domestic and international structuring, cross-border transactions, financing arrangements, asset acquisitions, divestments, IPO structuring, and indirect tax matters.

Qualifications- 3 to 4 years' experience in a similar tax consulting or tax advisory environment
- Background in Australian tax advisory, Australian public practice, or tax consulting environments
- Demonstrated exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation
- Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, tax advisory, and accounting standards
- Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to digest, distill, and communicate complex technical tax concepts clearly
- Confident presentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Strong initiative with a mindset for innovation and problem-solving
- CA / CTA equivalent qualified, or currently pursuing completion
- Exposure to technical advisory work involving GST, structuring, indirect tax, and cross-border transactions
- Prepare Australian tax returns and advisory reports for review by engagement managers
- Conduct technical tax research and draft tax advice on Australian income tax, GST, and complex tax matters
- Support advisory work involving domestic and international structuring, cross-border transactions, and indirect tax matters
- Draft technical advice on asset acquisitions, asset divestments, financing arrangements, IPO structuring, readiness, and prospectus matters
- Support clients and liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on reviews, audits, and disputes
- Stay current with legislative updates and apply tax changes to client scenarios
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and technical tax updates
- Review and organize client information and supporting documentation
