About the role
As an Accounting Assistant at S-Mega Media Corporation, you will be joining a dynamic and growing media company with a strong focus on providing exceptional service to our clients. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Malate Manila City office, assisting the Accounting team with a variety of bookkeeping and accounting tasks to support the overall financial operations of the business.
What you'll be doing- Performing daily bookkeeping functions, including data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable processing
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Preparing and processing payroll information
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Providing administrative support to the Accounting team as needed
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
